The hike begins and ends on the Neumarkt at the Oschatz Information. The path leads along the Seifteich and the observatory of the University of Leipzig to the Silbersee (Carlsteich). On the way back you climb the Collmberg (313 m). From the Albert Tower you have a wonderful view. We continue down to the town of Collm. Here you can see the 1000 year old linden tree in the cemetery. The way back to Oschatz leads over the Albertstein and Osterlant Castle (castle ruins). The Oschatz Zoo can be reached via Stranggraben and Eulensteg.
