Elbe-Radweg (D-Route 10) Etappe 11: Wittenberge - Hitzacker

11th stage of the official Elberadweg long-distance cycle route (on the left) from Bad Schandau along the Elbe to the confluence with the North Sea The Elbe Cycle Path begins at Špindlerův Mlýn (Spindleruv Mlyn) in the north of the Czech Republic and ends after 1,280 kilometers in Cuxhaven at the mouth of the Elbe in the North Sea. This cycle route follows the German course of the Elbe from Bad Schandau on the left bank of the Elbe. The long-distance cycle route in Germany is also called D-Route 10. The Elberadweg cycle route leads through the federal states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. The long-distance cycle route has been voted the most popular long-distance cycle route in Germany by members of the ADFC for the 13th time in a row.
