Beautiful loop in the Bliesgau biosphere reserve, Saarland.
The hike takes its name from the "Wolfsfelsen" ("Wolf's Rock") in the Lautzkirch forest. There is a lot to discover along the way - hammocks can be borrowed from Saarpfalz-Touristik for the hammock sites, there is a Kneipp pool to cool off in and an educational trail. There are opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way.
The start is at the clinic car park. The bus stop "Lautzkirchen Am Eichberg" is also nearby for those travelling by public transport. The hike is marked with the outline of a wolf and white lettering on a green background.
