The Schaumberg-Runde, also known as the Schaumberg-Radweg, leads around the eponymous mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Saarland. The beautiful bike tour starts at the market square in Thorey and follows the Roman road to Marpingen, then continues on the sculpture road and through the idyllic Blies valley. On the way back, it is worth making a detour to the Schaumberg Tower, from which you have a great view of the whole of Saarland, the Vosges and the Palatinate Forest.
