Beautiful loop in the Bliesgau biosphere reserve, Saarland.
A great hike with views, rustling forests and open meadows. The destination is the Alexander Tower, of whose original 26 metres only the base remains. However, a viewing platform has been built on it, so that today everyone can once again enjoy the view of the typical Bliesgau surroundings.
The hike is signposted throughout.
The start is very close to the "Breitfurt Kirche" bus stop, making it easy to get there by public transport.
