This beautiful circular route connects the Kaltenbrunner Hütte with the Hohe-Loog-Haus (hiking hut of the PWV Neustadt-Hambach), both huts where you can enjoy good Palatinate cuisine at reasonable prices (note opening times).
The route starts at the parking lot of the Kaltenbrunner Hütte and goes uphill along beautiful forest paths to the Hohe Loog Haus. From there it goes downhill past the Kühnungerquelle back towards the parking lot.
