Charming circular hike near Johanniskreuz, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This hike begins and ends in the small village of Johanniskreuz. In a southerly direction, the path soon follows the course of the Burgalb to the Pferdsbrunnenweiher pond, from which the Schwarzbach continues to flow, following the path in a southwesterly direction. Past the charcoal ovens, the Ramscherl pond awaits. The Ramschel shows the way until the route finally leads in the direction of Badischköpfchen and Heltersberg and the Eschkopfturm. Before the view can be enjoyed there, the first ascent must be completed. On the plateau it goes to the Schindhübel tower. The circular route then closes and you pass Erlenbach.
