Panoramic circular trail in the Palatinate Forest, Rhineland-Palatinate.
The circular trail starts in Darstein and leads up and down through shady forest around Bärenbrunnerhof. It passes the peaks of the Schindberg, Eichelberg, Sorgenberg and the Wolfshorn. Before returning, the circular route leads to the cozy Wasgauhütte (also known as Schwanheimer Hütte), a managed refuge. The hut was opened in 1969 and offers delicious Palatinate specialties and fine wines in a cosy atmosphere (note opening times).
