Stage 26 of the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This is the twenty-sixth stage of the Saar-Hunsrück Steig. The popular long-distance hiking trail between Perl on the Moselle and Boppard on the Rhine is certified with the German hiking seal.
The start of this section is the Kell reservoir and the hike ends after around 20 km in Kasel. Atmospheric stream valleys, an idyllic moor and the Osburger Hochwald make this stage an extremely scenic hike. The pretty wine town of Kasel is the "icing" on a wonderful day of hiking.
