From Bacharach, continue on the Rhine cycle path, and head past the huge Castle Rheinstein castle to Bingen. In Bingen stop at the mouth of the river and after a tour of the St. Martin's Church, the Klopp Castle and the Rhine Crane then take the ferry to the right side of the Rhine. The Niederwald Monument is visible from afar. After a short tour through Rüdesheim with the Boosenburg, the Brömserhof and the Drosselgasse, continue your journey via Oestrich-Winkel to Kloster Eberbach. Good bike path. The detour to the monastery Eberbach is rewarding.
