4th stage of the chapel pilgrimage route, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This stage leads from Schweigen back to Bad Bergzabern. Along the edge of the Haard, the route leads back into the Palatinate Forest, where the ruins of the Staufer imperial castle of Guttenberg soon await. This is the highest point of the tour, which is why there is a great view over the Mundatwald forest and the Rhine plain. The Stäffelsberg tower also offers great views. The trail continues to the Kolmerberg chapel - a popular place of pilgrimage. The fortified church of St. Martin, a simultaneous church dating from 1684/85, is waiting to be visited in Dörrbach. The church-rich stage ends in Bad Bergzabern with another 3 churches - the Marktkirche, Bergkirche and St. Martin's Church.
