Beautiful loop in the Westerwald.
An interesting tour in the region north of Montabaur, whose richness in clay and basalt has long characterised its history.
The start is in Boden, at the "Ahrbachhalle Boden" car park. The "Schule" bus stop is also located here. It is also possible to start the tour from the "Goldhausen" railway station.
Along the way, there are beautiful viewpoints and numerous information boards providing information about the geology and cultural history of clay and basalt.
It is nice to stop off at the traditional restaurant "Zur Tante Anna" in Boden after the hike.
