Ahr-Radweg Etappe 2: Hönningen - Remagen-Kripp

This route is Stage 2 of the Ahr Bike Trail, a multi-day bike trail in Germany that runs from Hönningen to Remagen-Kripp. From Hönningen, the route follows the Ahr River through the rocky landscape of the Mittelahr and the famous red wine region, passing through Altenahr, Mayschoß, and Ahrweiler, all the way to the Ahr’s confluence with the Rhine in Remagen-Kripp. Wild camping is not permitted; overnight stays are in hotels, guesthouses, or at campgrounds in the towns. Drinking water can be easily replenished in the towns. Both stage locations are accessible by Deutsche Bahn (https://www.bahn.de). The Ahr Bike Trail is a 77 km (48 miles) long bike trail along the Ahr from Blankenheim to Remagen-Kripp, which is usually cycled in two stages.
