The eighth stage of the Sauerland-Höhenflug leads through the Medebach Bay, which is also known as the "Tuscany of the Sauerland" because of its sunny climate. A special highlight is the huge Sauerland Stabil panorama chair, from which you have a wonderful view of the region. Natural paths lead to the Hilmesberg, here too you have great views of the Medebacher Bay, in late summer the heather blooms here. In wet weather you should use the blue marked bad weather variant of the hiking trail, which leads around the Hilmesberg and meets the yellow marked main path again below the summit cross. There are refreshment stops at the stage destination Medelon.
