This hike takes you around the Auesee near Wesel, one of the cleanest and most popular bathing lakes on the Lower Rhine.
From the starting point at the lido, the trail follows a flat circular route on well-maintained paths, always within sight of the water. A special highlight is the bird sanctuary island in the northern part of the lake, which is not allowed to be entered and thus offers an important retreat for numerous water birds.
