RTF route of the RC Dorff 2009, 77 km lap. From Stolberg-Breinig to East Belgium. Profile wavy, hilly, there is always slight uphill or downhill, no steep climbs, but also not much to rest. A long descent behind Henri-Chapelle, 3 km downhill, then about 5 km flat through the valley. This is the only longer flat section. Then the only notable mountain near Teuven, approx. 1.5 km long. Routes on back roads with little traffic or farm roads, tarred in "Belgian quality", ie sometimes a bit rough, but still easy to drive. In Raeren and Kornelimünster there is a short walk over cobblestones. In between, very nice views of the German-Belgian-Dutch border area. Very scenic. Two long railway viaducts at Teuven and Moresnet are striking. The RTF is very well organized and is also worth a longer journey.
