Rheinbrückenrunde

Located in central Düsseldorf, this loop traverses the Rhine River to link the Rheinuferpromenade with the Oberkassel riverbanks. The terrain remains consistently flat as it follows the river’s curve, oriented between the developed eastern shoreline and the open, pastoral meadows of the western side. Notable features include the cable-stayed structures of the bridges and the green spaces of the Rheinpark Golzheim. The path structure is defined by wide, level surfaces composed of asphalt and paving stones, while lower dike sections include stretches of unpaved ground and grass. Occasional sheep grazing is documented on the western meadows during certain periods.
