This hiking tour is great fun, especially when the daffodils are in bloom between March and May. Every year the yellow sea attracts numerous visitors to the Monschauer Land during the flowering period. But the route is also beautiful out of season. It leads along fairytale streams, through wild and romantic forests and into the Perlenbachtal and Fuhrtsbachtal nature reserve. There are places to rest along the way.
The starting point is the Höfener Mühle car park. There is also a restaurant to stop by here.
