Challenging mountain bike tour in the Grafenberg Forest, North Rhine-Westphalia.
There is a dense network of easy and medium trails in Grafenberg and Aaper Forest, many of which are explored on this tour.
The start is at the parking lot on Mettmanner Straße, right next to the "Schwarzbachtal" bus stop. The route first heads southwest towards Aaper Wald. After the Rather Waldstadion, the route loops towards Ludenberg, through the middle of Grafenberg Forest. Along small streams that nestle in the landscape, you can experience the idyll of nature despite the effort. Refreshments are available at Gut Knittkuhle and Kaisershaus before the route continues towards Ratingen with wonderful views of the Ruhr area to the end point.
