Diverse hiking trail in the Eifel.
For almost 8 kilometers you can experience the silence of the Eickser bush and the nature of the Rotbach and Bruchbach valleys.
You hike along narrow paths and forest roads through a dense forest and past an idyllic forest chapel. This dates from 1782 and is a classicist building, open on four sides and the simple Madonna can be seen in the middle. The forest chapel has long been a processional destination. In addition, the route leads through a historic town center with a small playground is small and idyllic half-timbered houses. Then there is pure nature on the fields and fragrant meadows of the Rotbach- and Bruchbachtal with its babbling brooks. At the end of the hike you get a wonderful view of Eicks Castle.
