A hike into the Wilder Kermeter area, to the Mariawald monastery and via the Way of the Cross back to the starting point in Heimbach. It goes through majestic beech forests, along rugged rocks and past gnarled oaks, ferns and moss carpets. At the monastery you can stop at the restaurant there and there are also cafés and restaurants near the castle.
