During the hike the landscape changes. Sometimes it goes through forests, sometimes through river landscapes and then through the moorland landscape of the High Fens. The path leads steadily uphill until a fantastic view on the high plateau can be enjoyed. Some of the path consists of very narrow wooden walkways. Be careful when it's wet and icy - it can be slippery!
The starting point is the parking lot at Haus Ternell. A bus also stops here at the Ternell Nature Center stop. There is also the opportunity to stop off after the tour in the nature center.
