This is a beautiful loop always along the Rhine near Bonn city center. The starting point is Bonn-Beuel train station (alternatively: Bonn main station; accessible by bus and train). If the loop is too long for you, you can use the Bonn-Beuel passenger ferry to shorten between kilometers nine and ten and simply let yourself be shuttled back to the Beuel side of the Rhine. There are places to stop for a break.
