This great walk leads to two great stalactite caves, the Prince's Cave and the Heinrich's Cave. The short circular route begins at the stalactite cave (Heinrichshöhle) in the Hemeran district of Sundwig, which features distinctive river cave profiles and 20-metre-high chasms and crevices. It is part of the Perick Cave system, over 3km in total corridor length and almost 300m has been expanded and electrically lit for easy viewing.
For safety reasons, a visit to the Heinrichshöhle is only possible as part of a guided tour and costs a small entrance fee.
