This hike can be reached by bus and train (youth hostel bus stop). Parking is available at the starting point for those arriving by car. There are also places to stop for refreshments in Waren. The route is, therefore, ideal as a day trip from Berlin.
The hiking trail starts in the south of Waren between Felsnecksee and Binnenmüritz. At the starting point is the Waren water tower. The route then leads clockwise around the Felsnecksee. On the southern part of the hike is the observation platform Kuhtränke.
