The approximately 250 km long circular route along the Wümme connects the Lüneburg Heath with the Hanseatic city of Bremen on a northern and a southern route. Depending on your preference, the entire long-distance cycle route, just the northern route, the southern route or individual daily stages can be cycled. The Wümme cycle route leads through the most diverse natural areas of the North German Plain, including the dyke foreland, floodplains, moors and marvellous forests.
