Radrundweg Axstedt

Starting point of the tour are either the station Lübberstedt or the center of Axstedt. The village with its more than 1000 years of history is surrounded by mixed forests, fields and meadows. On Hünengräberweg you pass the Hünensteine from the Neolithic period, which is located in the remainder of a hill. In the forest area west of the Lübberstedter station you cycle past the approximately 400 ha large area of the so-called "Muna". The "Muna" was used in the 2nd World War ammunition production, later as a weapons warehouse. On fixed dates from April to October tours are offered today (after registration) over the area, on which some buildings and bunkers can still be seen in their original condition.
