This section of the Elbe Cycle Path, which is one of Germany's most beautiful river cycle paths, begins in Grünendeich and ends in Ochsenwerder. In addition to several nature reserves, you also cycle through one of Germany's largest cities: Hamburg. There are places to stay overnight and places to stop for refreshments.
This route runs on the left side of the island. It is also possible to ride on the eastern side (right bank).
