Dike hike from Greetsieler Hafen

Beautiful dike hiking trail in Lower Saxony. Of all hikes through nature, a dyke hike is something very special. This begins at the Greetsiel amber house, which is well worth a visit. Past the Sieltor, which is well worth seeing, and always along the Störtebeker Canal. At the customs house you can particularly enjoy the view of the wide sea, with a bit of luck you can also observe sea and wild birds. Nature, as always, leads many lives; the only observing, respecting wanderer, yes - that is also welcome. The path continues past the dike on the North Sea, via the town of Norddeich and Ostermarscher Watt and the Hilgenrieger Watt to the natural beach near Hilgenriedersiel. Norddeich is a well-known North Sea health resort: here, in addition to the Seekurgarten, you can also visit the beautiful, popular wave park. Since the Deichweg runs directly along the harbor road to the Norddeichmole, it is advisable to stop at the Norden-Norddeich harbor as well. This hike, which is as interesting as it is healthy, ends right next to the natural beach.
