A varied mountain bike route in Wächterbach, Hesse. The standing view of the Kinzig floodplains near Wächtersbach creates the character of the route. The panorama tour connects the districts of the town of Wächtersbach in the Kinzigauen, mainly on asphalt or gravel paths. Immediately after starting at the “Untertor” car park, it goes slightly uphill. The tour leads to Hesseldorf on a farm road above the Brachtal. From here it goes on to the OT Weilers and thus to the other side of the Brachttal combined with a different perspective of the Kinzigauen. Farm roads with a clear view of the foothills of the Spessart lead to Neudorf. A short, steep meadow path has to be conquered here before you can continue comfortably. Above Neudorf, a short trail leads into the Kinzig valley. After crossing under the railway line, the tour leads along the Kinzig and wet meadows to Aufenau. Two short, crisp climbs up to the Kirchberg await mountain bikers here. The driveway is rewarded again with a great panoramic view this time with views of the Vogelsberg. Above Aufenau, the tour leads on farm roads to the Hohe Wacht. From here you can revue the panorama tour. With a great view of the Spessart and the city of Bad Orb, it is now down into the Autal of Bad Orb. On the bike path, the tour now leads back into the Kinzig valley and to Wächtersbach.
