MTB Circuit Nördliche Bergstraße

Challenging MTB tour in the UNESCO Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park, Hesse. From the starting point in Alsbach, the route leads through the Hasselbach Valley up to Hubertus-Schröder-Blick and on through the Balkhausen Valley past Heiligenberg Castle. After crossing the Stettbacher Valley, the route runs above the Lufthansa Training Center into the Ober-Beerbach Valley. After the Märchenteich pond, the trail leads to Hutzelstraße and on to Kuralpe. The highest point of the tour is reached at the summit of the Melibokus - here there is a magnificent view of the Rhine plain. The following descent runs along a trail in a southerly direction to Zwingenberg, up to Alsbach Castle and from there back to the starting point at Sperbergrund. Refreshment stops along the way include the Kuralpe Kreuzhof and the Burgschänke in Alsbach Castle. Alternative starting points are the war memorial in Zwingenberg and the ascent to Lufthansa in Seeheim.
