The youth trail starts and ends at Eichenzell station. Through side streets and footpaths of the local situation Eichenzell we reach the hell ground, past the Fasanenhof it goes to the castle Fasanerie (www.schloss-fasanerie.de). The magnificent Baroque complex includes a court of honor and three other courtyards. Large ballrooms and representative rooms with rich stucco work and ceiling paintings can be admired inside. In the pretty castle garden a small multi cache is created and at the same time the castle museum can be visited. For a break, the playground at the post house is suitable. In summer, the beer garden is open. Past the riding stables we leave Schloss Fasanerie and reach after one kilometer the shooting range of the Bogen-Sport-Club Fulda (www.bsc-fulda.de). This can be used for archery. It goes now in the tower forest to the Schäferbrunnen, here is a refuge, which invites to a break. Out of the tower forest, you can see the Wartturm. The stone tower was built as a signal point on a small hill for Fulda. The Rhönklub Eichenzell took on this unique natural monument and restored from 1967 the lookout tower. After registration, the hiking group will be hosted here (www.rhoenklub-eichenzell.de). The Wartturm also has a harmonious outdoor area with a large playground and benches that invite to a rest. Toilets are available. From the Wartturm it goes to the wall of Schloss Fasanerie on beautiful footpaths, right past us, to the old cemetery. We reach the station via the elementary school and the Eichenzeller Schlösschen. Tip: Opposite the castle in Eichenzell is an ice cream parlor, at the end of an ice cream can be eaten.
