The route is about 8 km long, leads first on dirt roads towards Malkes. Before Malkes the track crosses the railway line. There, the path turns right and then leads to the old trading street Antsanvia (also part of the Boniface Route). On the trail you have a magnificent view of the Lüdertal. After about 15 minutes you reach the Schnepfenkapelle (built in 1775), at the same time the highest point of the route (350 m altitude). Here you should definitely take a moment at the drinks stand to enjoy the panoramic view over Fulda to the Rhön. Passing the Cafe Körbelshütte, the route leads back to Bimbach via dirt roads. The track is separate from the running tracks of the SJS and RSC races.
