3rd stage of the Rotkäppchenland railroad cycle path, Hesse.
The cycle path between the train station in Neustadt(Hessen) and Niederaula leads right through the fairytale-like Little Red Riding Hood Land in northern Hesse. The Brothers Grimm collected their fairy tales here and in other places in the region. Fairytale fans should plan a stop at the Fairytale House in the old town of Neukirchen or at the house of the Grimms' grandfather in Weißenborn.
The third and final stage of the cycle route begins in Oberaula. It leads slightly away from the railroad line through the Aula valley to Niederaula. The route leads through beautiful countryside and small Hessian villages. It passes through Wahlshausen, Gersdorf, Frielingen, Heddersdorf, Kirchheim and Kleba. There is a cycle path and pilgrimage church in Niederaula.
In Oberaula there are e-bike rental stations at the Parkhotel zum Stern.
