This route leads over the natural island of Ziegenwerder, which is located between the Old and New Oder. It starts at the building of the Europa Universität, to which public transport also leads. After crossing a small bridge, you are already on the island, with its natural small bays and special planting. There is a public playground and sports field on the island, which invites you to exercise in good weather. Bathing in the Oder is not recommended as the current can be dangerous.
