Beautiful circular route in Lusatia, Brandenburg. On this hike you can get to know the Lusatian end moraine landscape with its mixed forests and the traces of the former brown coal opencast mines on the north-eastern edge of the village of Steinitz. The village or the Steinitzer Hof is the starting point, there is a visitor center here. It goes north to the boulder labyrinth and then through the village and along the forest to the idyllic Görigker See. Nearby is a sleepy manor house and the old fortified church. When the weather is clear, you can see the Spreewald from the lookout tower on the Steinitzer stairs. With a bit of luck, the silver dome of Tropical Island will shine in the distance. The route is sometimes poorly signposted. With the map and the offline route on the smartphone, however, it is easy to hike. Highlights: - Erratic labyrinth - historical church - Steinitz Stairs
