Stage 5 of the long-distance cycle route “Havel-Radweg”, Brandenburg.
This is the fifth stage of the almost 400 km long Havel cycle path, which follows the eponymous river from the source near Ankershagen to the mouth near Gnevsdorf and is one of the most beautiful river cycle paths in Germany.
The fifth stage of the Havel Cycle Path is around 62 km long, begins in Brandenburg an der Havel and ends in Rathenow. Countless picturesque lakes await along the way, the historically significant Milower Land and Rathenow with its many sights.
The start and finish point of this route can be reached by bus and train, and there are places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments.
