Idyllic route section in Hohen Fläming, Brandenburg
The fifth stage of the castle hiking trail begins in Görzke and leads to the Ziesar bishop's residence. You walk through the Nonnenheide and along the Dahlen manor - here in the manor park you will find many unexpected trees; their names can be found on boards. We continue through the idyllic Buckautal - if you want, you can try your luck in the "Apiary in Fläming" and take part in a tour and honey tasting. You have to briefly cross the A2 motorway and finally you get to Ziesar (pronounced Zi-E-sar) with its imposing castle complex. You should plan about 6-7 hours for the route.
