This tour is one of 17 stages of a wonderful long-distance hiking trail that leads around the capital city of Berlin. The lakes determine the route here. The start is in Breitscheidstraße, near the New Apostolic Church in Rüdersdorf. This is the start of the most varied stage, which allows to experience almost all the beauty that Brandenburg has to offer. Unpaved and natural paths predominate along the route and, typical for this region, there are only a few metres of altitude to overcome. The Löcknitz Valley, the Rüdersdorfer Heide and the area around Fangschleuse are particularly beautiful. Refreshments are available en route.
