Weißenburg nach Gunzenhausen über Spalt

Demanding MTB tour in the Free State of Bavaria. This special route leads into the Altmühltal Nature Park. Start is in Weißenburg. It goes in a northerly direction through green meadows and meadows until, at Pleinfeld, the previously green landscape gives way to the urban. This city is well known as the hop metropolis of northern Bavaria in the heart of the Franconian Lake District. in a westerly direction it continues to Gunzenhausen before then heading north. At Dittenheim - here the Schnitzlerholz and Bergholz information points are worth seeing - the forest is reached again and leads back to the starting point via the Weissenburg industrial area.
