Challenging hike on the Heilbronn Trail, Bavaria.
The Heilbronner Weg between Rappensee and Kemptner Hütte is one of the most famous alpine rock paths in the Allgäu Alps. This hike offers a magnificent panorama of the peaks of the Allgäu's main ridge. The route also runs through a beautiful gorge with fantastic views. With a bit of luck, wild animals can also be observed. The trail follows the Heilbronner Weg up to the Bockkarkkopf and finally leads back and follows the Bacherlochbach stream to the Einödsbach mountain inn, from where the last section shows to Birgsau.
The trail is unsuitable for winter hiking but is best hiked in the summer. For a safe alpine experience, a head for heights and knowledge is essential for the ascent! (also easy climbing)
