The hike is a popular loop starting in the hamlet of Haselstauden (Obertrubach) in the Trubach Valley in Bavaria. It leads past wonderful highlights of Franconian Switzerland such as the "robber's cave", the ruins of Wolfsberg and the Burggraf through wonderfully hilly nature.
