The loop starts at the Kipfenberg car park, leads up the Michelsberg and offers beautiful views of Kipfenberg. It goes through Arnsberg, over the Altmühl and finally a longer stretch through the forest and finally back to Kipfenberg. Castles, great views and beautiful old towns await along the way.
There is a public bathroom at the starting point and several places to stop for refreshments along the way.
