Point to point
The Regental cycle path leads through the Bavarian Forest with usually little incline, before it goes a short round through the Upper Palatinate Lake District. The route follows the river in a relaxed manner, there are occasional climbs where you move away from the water. Most of the route is suitable for the whole family, further to the east mountain foothills come closer and at Roding and between Viechtach and Regen it becomes quite strenuous. You get through beautiful and historical places and have wonderful views of the river landscape.
