Münchner Kirchsee-Tour

Beautiful endurance tour in the foothills of the Alps from Munich to Kirchsee. The tour is similar to Tour 38 from Moser Bike Guide 7, starting at Säbener Platz. From there you first cross the Perlacher Forst and soon reach the Gleißental. Once you have found the somewhat difficult to find start, the route now leads through the quiet valley to Deininger Weiher. You pass the Frauenholz forest and head towards Thanning. You will soon reach the Thanning ponds. Initially via grass paths, later again via forest paths, you reach Dietramszell. Once there, leave the monastery on the left and begin the ascent into the Zell forest. You then pass the Maria Elend church and head for the southernmost point of this tour, the Kirchsee lake. The route continues on various forest tracks past Hackensee lake to Teufelsgraben, where it gets steep once again. You then roll past the Keltenschanze via Lochen, Baiernrain and Gumpertsham. Via Großeichenhausen, Altkirchen and Deisenhofener Forst, the route leads back through Perlacher Forst to the starting point.
