First, you the beauty of the monastery lake can be enjoyed. The trail continues idyllically through the forest to the second lake on the route - Griessee lake. On warm days, the bathing area at Griessee lake is perfect. In order not to disturb the flora and fauna in the nature reserve, bathing is only permitted in the designated areas. There is a public bathroom at the lake on the way and stopping off at the monastery restaurant at the starting point is nice after the hike.
