Gmund - Bad Kohlgrub

This extensive connection between Lake Tegernsee and the moor spa Bad Kohlgrub leads through the picturesque hilly landscape of the Upper Bavarian Alpine foothills. The route crosses the Tölzer Land and the Blue Land, following sections of the famous Lake Constance-Königssee cycle path. The tour offers a backdrop of lush alpine meadows, traditional farms and sweeping views of the Wetterstein mountains to the south. Historical highlights include the market street of Bad Tölz and the untouched nature of the Murnauer Moos. The terrain is characterized by constant ups and downs that require physical endurance on paved paths and well-maintained forest trails.
