AlpenX: Freilassing - Klagenfurt am Wörthersee - Torbole

This Alpine Cross (AlpenX) is an epic, multi-day crossing of the Alps that requires extreme physical fitness and alpine experience. The route runs over the main Alpine ridge, including high mountain passes and exposed sections with technical single trails and scree. Detailed planning, survival equipment and alpine knowledge are essential due to the high alpine dangers posed by falling weather, the extreme demands on riding technique and the several days of remoteness. This is a border crossing that should only be undertaken by experienced mountain bikers.
