Beautiful multi-day tour in the Swabian Alb biosphere reserve, Baden-Württemberg.
The WANDERMAHL tours are based on the perspective of the novel "Rulaman" by David Friedrich Weinland. A total of 19 "biosphere hosts" are encountered along the way, where stopping off for refreshments and discovering typical Alb dishes is possible.
The second tour can also be described as "Rulaman's Hunting Trail" and leads from Schmiechen to Münsingen. The start is very close to Schmiechen railway station.
The route follows some near-natural paths, but mostly on gravelled paths and also asphalted paths and roads. However, sturdy footwear is recommended. The destination is the biosphere host Hotel Herrmann. Münsingen railway station is a little further on, so continuing the the journey by public transport is possible.
