The start and end of the circular route is the parking lot at the fitness trail in the municipality of 88639 Wald (on the district road from Wald to Rast). The first step is against the direction of the trim path. After about 1 km, the path of the fitness trail is left, and on forest and field paths it goes to Rothenlachen, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Alps from the water reservoir. Follow the paved, little-used road to the Süßlöchle inn, and from there on a paved footpath and bike path towards the community of Wald. In front of the forest, branch off to the left, and forest paths lead back to the parking lot at the fitness trail. Approx. 25 percent of the route is paved, the rest are gravel forest roads that can also be used by bicycles (not racing bikes).
